I recently bought this on eBay, and fixed it up. I'm apparently at least the third owner. The first owner used this on triathlons, resulting a bunch of energy drink stains all over the top and bottom tube. I think throughout the ownership transfers, parts were removed. Annoyingly, I'm not even sure of whether it is an r1000 or a r900. Ironically, without the model badge, it is impossible to distinguish. Anyways, a lot of parts are from a r900. Shimano 105 all over, with sun mavic rims on...

I bought my Cannondale on the first of august 1992. It's a blue one Beast of the east. The backrim was burst and so I changed the rims for a set of Mavic. Also I replaced the Fork, Deraillieur (Scram 9.0) en Brakes (Shimano XTR). I traveld across the whole of Europe and have set 65.000 km/ 40.000 mls on it. The number is: 520392529*

This was a warranty replacement from years ago that I stripped to build another mountain bike. The frame and fork sat in a closet collecting dust until I decided to turn it into a city bike. This is a collection of old and new, it's light and stiff, great fun to ride. Suntour XC Pro/Comp shifters and rear derailleur, rear brake only (plan ahead!), Raceface single crankset, Sun Rhynolite Rims with Deore hubs and 7 speed cassette.

<!--break-->This bike has been a project that I am very proud. I thought in installing a BELT DRIVE SYSTEM but I have not been able to do it.Rear suspension does not allow that upgrade. So this bike is attached with an ALFINE 11 rear hub. The paint is copied of the LAND ROVER DEFENDER G STAR RAW IN PENNINE GREY.Do you remember the bad boy gstar? Gstar launched the bike, the land rover and a boat in version raw military few years ago. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING. ramon.bargas@gmail.com
