I grew up in California, not too far away from Mt. Tamalpais and Specialized. Growing up, I always thought the Hard Rocks, RockHoppers and Stumpys were the bomb. I noticed Cannondale in the early 90’s. There were not many Cannondales in my area, and the internet was not a thing. My 1st purchase was in 1998, an all black Cannondale. I purchased a 2003 Jekyll 800 in 2004. I rode this bike to death. In 2009 I blew the Ti lefty. in 2010, I cracked the 800 frame and blew the rear shock. The lefty was rebuilt in Germany by 88+, and the 800 frame was replaced with a 500 frame. Just need to finish the rebuild.
