Looking for Cannondale Part # KP298/x

In that case I would probably just get the housings centered in the opening and shoot the gaps full of black silicone. You should be able to trim the excess up with a razor blade after it cures.

    1989 SR800 rebuild

Looks great. 3.0 series frame? What fork did you use?

Looking for Cannondale Part # KP298/x

I haven't looked at the bike. Are those hydraulic brake lines, cables, or one of each?

Looking for Cannondale Part # KP298/x

Is that just a guide, or is it a casing stop? Perhaps you could make a "casting" out of JB Weld and hand file it to fit the opening.

    Cannondale F600 Furio?

This one with very few miles only brought $400 + $170 shipping. https://www.ebay.com/itm/133812763904?hash=item1f27dcbd00%3Ag%3AJUkAAOSwIUxg57t5&nma=true&si=lkfu85Hrm32w21HNK5ziCgPSYKQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 On the other hand, a bare frame (no fork) sold...

Value of 2005 Rush with a lefty fork?

There have been frames with no forks sell in the $300-400 range. Looks to me like you could get quite a bit more than $600 for it parted out.

SOLD FOR SALE: 1 1/8 Rock Shox, Manitou

All 1 1/8"? I might be interested in the Manitou if it's long enough.

Looking for Cannondale Part # KP298/x

A bit disconcerting that you can't get a part for a bike that's only 5 years old. Any chance of fabricating one? Post a picture of it. I'm not familiar with the carbon frames so am no help. My only suggestion is to keep checking with other dealers. The old Cannondale used to supply dealers...

SOLD: 1/8 Slice Time Road carbon fork.

Wish that was longer. I have a white CAAD7 frame here that's missing the fork.

Fresh donation at the local coop. 1987 sky blue.

Looks to be a 1988 ST400 even though it has the 1987 style top tube decals. Blueberry color is right for 1988. The touring frames were sized in inches, so 21 is right. The road frames were sized in cm, it just happens that the example used was a road frame.

    What model is this?

I tried to access that page earlier today but the site was down. I had pretty much ruled out 2001 because I couldn't see a two letter code with M in your BB shell.

    Howdy from ST600 owner

Looks to be in great shape. I've owned 5 STs but they have all been 80s caliper brake frames.

    What model is this?

That's a tough one. I'd say it's most likely a 2002 frame that is missing the bar code sticker. I checked my 2002 R3000SI and it doesn't have one either. Metallic Silver was used on some frames that year but I can't explain those decals. Slice Prodigy was used on 2002 CAAD5s from the R700 to...

    Headset replacement...

You can always add spacers if the fork tube is too long. Since you have some spacers now, you can use headsets that have more stack height than your present one. Measure the total stack of all your present headset parts, including the spacers. Don't include the cable hanger as you will need...

    Headset replacement...

You want a 1" threaded headset with ISO dimensions - 30.2 mm cup diameter and 26.4 mm crown race diameter. You should also check the stack height of the current headset. You won't want one that's much taller. I've used Ritchey and Tange Passage at the lower end of the price range and...

    Upgrade f300 2000

I would have guessed that that fork was fairly reliable as it has a coil/micro cellular urethane spring. Perhaps the MCU can be replaced. I'd check with Craig at Mendon Cyclesmith and see what he says. You can buy a reducer headset and put any 1 1/8" fork on it but I would keep the Headshok...

SOLD: 1990 Cannondale ST400 Touring 21"/56cm Frame only

I have a couple of steel forks but would have to use a caliper and would probably be limited to a 700C x 28 tire. Not sure how adjusting cantis for 700C on a frame made for 27" would work.

New tires for an old bike...

I think it looks fine but am a bit surprised that you had to change to the Race Blades. I would have thought a touring frame would have enough clearance for any 27" tire and full fenders.

    Wanted 63cm Road Bike

I don't have a 3.0 that large but do have a 25" mid 80s T400 and a 63 cm CAAD7. I'm about 185 miles from Milwaukee. Might go to the swap meet in Madison if Covid is under control in January.
