This is a custom build which used a 2000 F700 frame as a base. It's built up with Deore disc brakes, rear derailleur, and shifters. It's also got RaceFace cranks and a Forte carbon bar. In the future I'd like to switch out the drivetrain for XT and maybe upgrade to Mavic rims. For now though, it's just plain fun to ride.
newly built with nos shimano xtr components and frame is also new old stock

Bought this off my pastor. Not sure where he got it from. It needed some basic cleaning up but it rides well. I've serviced the hubs and put a new chain on it. Other than that and some cleaning that's about it. It has all the original components except the shifters, which have been converted to grip shifters on the end of the handlebars. Handlebars are the old Scott TT style. Brake levers are still SLR 105. All components are Shimano 105 1050 series. Rides great, shifts smooth. I...

After years of owning all kinds of bikes, as an old guy nearing 70, I was looking for a go-to, all around bike for fitness rides and runs to town. The Bad Boy is a perfect fit! I sold my Felt 80, and have never looked back. I love a good road bike, and will probably look for one again when I have more time to ride, but for now, this bike is terrific. I'm rebuilding a house right now, so fitness rides are typically 8-15 miles on varied terrain, and around town is about 5 miles. I've owned...

My new 1997 F 700 cad 2 just picked up on C-list. Rides like it is brand new. It is amazing what people have in their garages and are willing to part with so cheap. My trusty 1985 SM 600 in the background. 26/24. Coolest bike around.

97 model I believe. Good shape, some components changed at some point, great rider, this is the bike I ride most. Large frame, a good fitting bike for me and light!

Hi guys, I'm a Cannondale fan from Switzerland, and I'm looking for a mountain bike frame CAAD4 year 2000 in the star'n'stripes paint scheme. I owe the same in size M (see pitc), but it's too small for me, so i'm searching the size L If anyone can help me find such a frame, that will be great: i will buy it immediatly, if possible. Thanks a lot Miguelon

I got this bike on ebay and removed the original front weel and installed the lights, a humpert slim line rack, Schwalbe Marathon tyres and added the bluemels rear fender. I think it is a ST500 (400?). The frame number tells me, that it is a 1989 model, fabricatet in may. Frame size 21inch. This bike is in really excellent condition. I had to repair some minor scratchers and found out, that the Ducati red from 2002 fits exactly. I use it for touring with less weight baggage and for buying...

The most recent addition to my collection. Bought from an estate auction in almost pristine condition. Despite the dust and grime, I couldn't tell if it had ever been ridden at all! The rims had zero brake wear. The bearings and races were in perfect condition. I immediately though: let's do something wild and make this 1055 STI, instead of the 1050 that was on. I already had all the parts just needed shifters. $100 later and this is it. I sold the original 1050 hubs laced to Wolber Alpine...
MY first Cannondale. Traded a 1988 Centurion Sport DLX for it 1995. It was in sorry shape mechanically, but I had the LBS bring up to rideable. Rode it like hell for a while and crashed (spent three days in the hospital with surgically repaired tibia). Fork, headset, wheels, bar, stem, bottom bracket had to all be replaced. The wheels weren't built right and kept snapping spokes. I eventually stopped riding for years and it sat. And sat. Inside, ouside through rain, snow, sleet. Eventually...
I always wanted a 2.8 series and now I have one. Bought as a bare frame and fork. Built up with full SRAM Rival, Velocity Aerohead on Ultegra hubs. Thomson stem and seatpost. Easton EA-50 bar.
