Bought this bike 2008 from a guy who had never rode it in anger. I think he cycled to shop once to buy some milk in 2000. It was in mint condition when I got it.
It had sat in his garage for about 8 years, he said he liked to look at it. Eventually his wife told him to get rid of it.
I still use it on trails and fast single track.
I've got a Rush 600 frame size M and I had all the parts from a broken Rush Carbon. I changed the swing arm, installed the Lefty Speed Carbon. XTR Disc Brakes, XT rear derailleur, XT front derailleur, XT shifter, LX crank, Salsa handlebar, carbon seatpost, Selle Italia seat, Mavic Cross Max SLR wheels.
F2000 purchased brand new in 1998 for my 18 years ! some updates like beautiful Mavic Crossmax and Flite Titanium (best saddle ever). Now 14 years and still like new.
SV1000 purchased last years, and I made some upgrades like Mavic 517 (the old wheels from my F2000) and I found a Flite (but not Titanium). I put also new brakes deore XT. Bike was in poor condition, but now looks great.
