Hi, I think my bike is a 1991, I really only found out from your site. Someone owed me money and paid half in cash and this wonderful old bike that had a layer of dirt and filth on it. I cleaned it up serviced it and rode it I fell in love with it. Now I want to restore it (cover the scratches replace the missing toe clips and bring it back to the days it was new. Its a bit stiff but it glides . Any help or info will be put to good use AND NO its not for sale ! 1991 I think CANNONDALE SR...
While my other Cannondale was AWOL, a friend of mine very kindly gave me this M1000 frame with mis-matching Pepperoni forks to ease the pain and I built the rest up into this... Its super light and super fast. I think the forks might be off an M700

VERY HAPPY WITH IT SINCE ITS ARRIVAL, LOOKS LIKE NEW, ALL PARTS ARE OEM, THE POLISHED IS WAY BRIGHTER THAN MY OTHER GT BULLBURNISHED, THAT IS THE FIRST THING I NOTICED, THE FORK WORKS GREAT BUT NEED SOME ADVICE ON HOW TO KEEP IT WORKING WELL FOR SOME YEARS. IT WILL BE USED ON SUNDAYS MOSTLY. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

My first Cannondale MTB, had it for just under a year and recently sold it to my sister who has it now under probation in West Kerry. I bought the Killer V900 to replace this. It still has its original XT group set except for the brakes which have been changed to LX. I use to use this bike as a hybrid and had Kojack's fitted.
Original paintwork, I have fitted this bike with NOS marzocchi bomber Z1's It is equipped with XTR brakes and XT groupset.
