Cannondale Killer V 900 Frame, Pace 35 MXCD, Magura Race-Line D, XT/XTR, Syncros, Race-Face, Flite, Chris King

2003 CAAD5, 52cm built with Ultegra, Velocity Deep Vee Wheels, Ritchey bar/stem/post and Conti force/attach tires.

This has been converted to become a Fast Five Speed. Lots of true vintage parts were used for the build as well as parts with class. However an older Dura Ace BB and crankset give in to the modern era.

This is a work in progress... starting with this stunning flamed CAAD 5. I do not know the exact model or year of manufacture. Mo lata.

The only thing stock is the frame. Full XTR 970 Drivetrain. Carbon 130mm Lefty RLC with Fox internals off a Rize 2. Mavic 317s off a 2001 F5000. XTR rear hub. Straitline levers.

The Ad's for this bike said that it floated over rough terrain and soaked up head size rocks....and the truth!!...they're not wrong i've had several dales over the years and this things just does what it says on the box..totally awsome. A few Titanium bolts here and there. never understood why high end bikes use crap quality finished bolts but oh well. Chris king Bottom bracket Front and Rear Rotors have been replaced with Jet black products light weight ones (weight weenie at heart). and...

Bought in Florida in 1990 off a triathlete and it came home with me to the UK. It was 21 last July and had a bit of a overhaul Birthday present. Did 125 miles in a day in 2008 from Birmingham to Aberdovey, Wales and a couple of Charity Rides more recently. When off road is required, I've got a Bad Boy, but a Slice is on the horizon for future road rides. I'll always keep my first Cannondale though with the train station logo and Daytona Beach bike shop badge !

found the frame in a small shop in Jerusalem, rebuilt it with the parts tacken from my F800...

second birth of my first Cannondale...
