This was my first real racing bike. A 1988 Criterium that came with a suntour/sugino mix. It was affordable for a 14 year old kid that mowed lawns. I eventually replaced all the components with a Suntour Sprint (like Shimano 600, Ultegra today). I raced it my first 2 years as a junior in 1988/1989. Here is the 3.0 crit bike I raced back in my junior days. The team was Guys Bikes in Feasterville, PA. It is a 53cm built with mostly Dura Ace. This pic was taken in the summer of 1992 just before heading out to the junior national championships in Bloomington Indiana.
