This is my Cannondale Team Comp Road Bike. It's a 1987 and it was given to me by my good road biking friend Nick. It had mismatched rims on it so I took those off and replaced them with the black Italian racing rims. I also added extra Cannondale decals to help break up the green color. I replaced the old worn bar tape. I put a lightweight racing seat on it as well. The color and model are original. I contacted Cannondale with the SN# and they verified everything. Bought this bike brand new back in 1998 and have been riding it ever since. Ive beat the crap out of it, ridden it many miles and its still goin strong. Love it

well started off as a carbon six one but the frame failed and was replaced with a carbon six six, same frame but slight variation on the graphics, all the components from the (1) are swapped over, Hats off to Cannondale they stood by their word.

When I purchased the bike circa '90 or '91, it was billed as a 'T700', which would have been an 1988, but the serial number indicates frame construction in 1989. In 1990, cantilever brake studs were added, which this frame does not have. The crankset and derailleurs are original, as are the frame, fork, handlebars and seatpost. The mileage is so low, that I never replaced the gears. When I purchased the bike, it came standard with a Biopace triple crankset, however I had the shop swap...
