Most euro only, but a few stayed in the states. I bought it new Oct. 1990 at Wash. DC bike show via Metropolis Bicycles. $1200. A ton more than I ever paid for a bike, but I had to have it being American/Italian.... like me.

I picked this bike up a month ago on craigslist. I got it from an older gentleman who had hip surgery soon after buying it and put it in his barn. It was 100% original per the 1991 Cannondale catalog...even down to the original Michelins! The bike was covered and it was literally like brand new. It still had the little rubber nub things on the tires. I put a battery in the Avocet 30 that came with it from the factory and voila! Still works perfectly. Bought on eBay. I'm not sure what model/year it is and can't find a seriel number on the frame. I would appreciate any assistance determing what model/year the bike is. I intend to repaint the badly scratched frame and rebuild it as rigid.

My current bicycle project is a beautiful 2002 Caad 5, Circle Cycle team bike in a 57cm pro-size. I purchased the frameset from the original owner, and learned that he raced the bike in the Masters Series for Circle Cycle bike shop. It was originally built up with full Dura Ace components, but I purchased it as a frame, fork and headset only.
