I purchased this bike new from Alan's Cyclery in Oceanside Ca. when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, Ca. Marine Corps Base. I own 3 Trek full suspension bikes also but this has always been my favorite. Most of the components are original except the head set. I thought it be great to share it on this web site. Enjoy

It's my beloved CANNONDALE XR800 Cyclocross Bike. 56cm frame, all original components, with the exception of the tires of course. It now has new Continental X Kings on it. The frame is STIFF as Cannondale loves to do, which is why so many of these broke/split when raced back in the day. But its a joy to ride.
Shadow XT RD, top mount FD fit nicely into the Old School look; a 1.5\" to 1 1/8\" reducing headset readily solved 1.55\" head tube compatibility problems. Special Thanks to StickyCal Graphics for a very cool KillerV900 design.
No other bike I have ever owned climbed like a Cannondale. I knew I had to own this one the moment I found it on Craigslist. The previous owner loved his bikes and it shows. He bought this bicycle for his wife; I believe it was in Michigan(?). They rode avidly, moved to NY and the bike began to see little road-time. Fortunately, the owner knew how to store the bike! With wheels removed, and moving parts covered, he stored it. Packed away in his garage, it just sat until they made a move to...

Found this on Craigslist. Was in bad condition; shifters were mismatched, dirty, and needed tuning (cables, dérailleurs, wheels and tires). I love how the taller guys looked on the 26ers in the early 90's, so I picked up the bike and the aim was to just overwhelm the bike with my stature. The results are what you see. I feel slightly big on the bike, but she is such a beauty, that I'm compelled to keep her. 24\" wheels on this '94 Cannondale MCX. Shimano everything. Thanks to: LBS...

I bought my 1990 Cannondale T600 Touring bike from it's original owner in February 2014. This bike is in pristine condition, and rides like it's brand new. <!--break-->
