Traded 2001 Cannondale CAAD4 Bad Boy Ultra, for this all-original, NOS beauty. Converted to flat bar, 700c Cyclocross duty, while retaining original Easton CT2 bars, carbon seatpost and OEM Magura Marta SL hydro brakes. This was the final year, Team Volvo/Cannondale UCI XC racer - ridden by Tinker Juarez, Christoph Sauser, Kashi Leuchs, and U23 Danish sensation, Jakob Fuglsang. Build specs are as follows: Frame: 2002 Cannondale F3000SL CAAD5 Mountain Fork: Cannondale Headshok Ultra Fatty...

Original paint, fork and rear derailleur. The rest is changed to make the bike go faster. Very aggressive acceleration, excellent steering and handling. Weight 8,6 kg. Anything that doesn't make the bike go faster is stripped. The gearshift is my own creation. It consists of an old-fashioned racing gear shifter mounted on the handle bar. Works excellent and precisely. The bike has 8 gears so I don't need the front derailleur or the cables. There are 53 T in front and 12/20 on the wheel. The...

Got this M300 from 1997. Most of the original parts were replaced by better components i.e. WRA cranks, Magura Race-Line Brakes and SRAM ESP 9.0 rear derailleur.

Purchased this as a frame only in 2003. This is the bike that started VintageCannondale.com, which started in 2006 from all the data that I found collecting info about this bike. I loved this bike. It was never a show bike, but rather a just ride it and enjoy. In 2013 the bike was stolen. My father in law saw somebody ridding down the street with it and stopped him. Once recovered my 1987 SM800 looked like it was gone for about 20 years. I have been slowly collecting parts for this build. My...

Wonderful bike, was stored in a garage all its life. Ridden less than a dozen times when I bought it at yard sale. The shock is in excellent condition, holds air perfect. I have original seat, pedals, etc. This had a different suspension in the front but original owner had the Cannondale dealer at the time put the Rock Shock on it and remove the rigid with Girvin Flex Stem. He did not have the original front system, he said the dealer kept it. Large Frame. ...
Found this a couple of months ago, definitely in need of some tlc. The paint was quite damaged and had bubbled all over. Build-wise, most original parts are heavily used (and painted over with matte black paint) and the previous owner had replaced derailleurs, shifters, front wheel and saddle, so instead of mounting all original parts, I've decided to go for a Suntour Superbe Pro groupset. I finished respraying it a couple of weeks ago, I managed to save almost all original decals except...
Restored from frame purchased cheap on Ebay and which is Powder coated and with new cable guide clips and of course New Vintage Cannondale decals. The groupo is Shimano's 1991 105 index in excellent new like shape. Wheels are Dura Ace hubs with Campy rims and DK spokes with a Dura Ace 8 speed cassette. A lite and quick responsive ride with a ride not to stiff and uncomfortable with help of the chromoly steel fork. I can still beat out the Carbon Guys on Treks :) Photos taken with ipod...

Got this second hand, gratis (thanks Steve!) it's an M400, not dissimilar to another old C'dale I have, except this one has a replaceable derailliuer hanger, and a rigid fork. I built it up with mostly old parts, running a 34 chainring up front and 7 speed in the back, worked by a homemade drillium derailliuer. The handlebar is an Answer Hyperlight, and I got my hands on some funky old school neon colored cable housing. I traded another frame for some anodized parts and it's sporting...
