Random Cannondale photos in the wild

Thanks JohnnyD, I searched ebay for cannondale jersies. Wow, never realized they had so many designs. Race team jersies from road and mtb teams usually with team co-sponsors like Saeco, Volvo, Crest. Plain colors, some with patterns. Drinks, bud light, sobe, etc.

Random Cannondale photos in the wild

could be worse, that chain in the background... The trailer looks home made. Aluminum angle iron and regular 26" wheels. Most trailers use 24, 20 or 16" wheels. And it is rather narrow. Was there ever a Bud Light Cannondale? I've seen the Crest tooth paste edition.

    Unknown custom made bike

Post a photo of the underside of the bb where a serial might have been. Some brands put their serial numbers in other locations like on the head tube, dropouts, stays, seat tube, etc. I have a Huffy Red Rock with the same seat stay brake bridge. The bb stay bridge is rather unique. Bot the...

    Health, Heartrate, and Disappointment....

You might consider a "Pulse Oximeter". This is a small electronic device that clips on the finger that reports your pulse and your blood oxygen saturation level. They run about $40. Note they make kid size too so don't get that by mistake if you have big fingers. Oxygen in the blood is...

    Fresh Find: Gold

Me and some neighbor kids were riding around and one got too close to a car like this and that long chrome spear point bit of trim that was hanging a bit loose skewered his thigh. Right through it... I guess it missed everything important. Didn't seem to have any permanent effects.

    Fresh Find: Gold

Looooong ago, my dad put sting ray bars and a banana seat on the Schwinn Skipper I got handed down from my big sister. One day I was riding no handed down a big hill and it started wobbling hard and I crashed. owie. A couple days later the cast steel Schwinn stem just broke off as I was riding...

    1999 F500 fresh find.

JE build (1998, May). But it matches the 1999 catalog specs. Smaller black F500 decal, no welded on rear rack tabs, Weinman rims. The front wheel is a Ritchey so not original. The rear of the bike was left under a water source. Chain rusted solid. Rear brake arms seized. Derailleurs stuck...

    Cannondale T2000 V-Brakes Noodle Query

FYI, Tektro makes a dropped bar brake lever that is v-brake compatible. I have a pair on my touring bike. I have bar-end shifters to go with it. I change the brakes from canti to v-brakes on my bikes. IMO vbrakes are easier to adjust and work very well. they also don't stick out as much and...

    EN14764

In searching for info I found this sticker on my Cannondale. Turns out it is a European Standard number akin to a government stamp of safety measures met. https://standards.iteh.ai/catalog/standards/cen/95a762c0-f44d-4a4e-ad31-21c1712c698d/en-14764-2005 I suppose the label is the equivalent...

age of a Cannondale Quick (2?).

Thanks, I was up pretty late looking through the catalogs pretty closely. Straight round seat stays are the standout feature to look for. The frame and color matches the Quick 4 in 2009 and 2010. They redesigned the frames for 2011 to a lighter looking frame with curvy and slender stays...

Early, can’t read number on BB

The yellow looks off on my computer screen. If it's a repaint, the serial numbers may be obscured. I've sanded or scraped paint off to reveal numbers on other bikes. I've seen quite of few bikes where the painters put their logo on in that same location.

age of a Cannondale Quick (2?).

I stopped by the storage unit tonight, in the dark and took some more photos of the serial number. The serial was incorrect before. There is a second number that was mostly obscured by the bb plastic cable guide. and a bar code. and I found what looks like a catalog part number on the frame...

age of a Cannondale Quick (2?).

serial ICC0960296 Cannondale Quick. don't know the sub number. Kinda beat. Looks like many parts have been replaced so I don't think any are original for date codes.

Cannondale Adventure 1000 with busted SRAM DualDrive igh

Rear wheel rebuilt with a decent road hub. Looks good. found a 9 speed SRAM trigger shifter at the coop. And I thumbed through the owners manuals for the hub and the bike. I found these in the back of the manual. Pretty clear this is a 2004 model. Right down to the second the label was...

Cannondale Adventure 1000 with busted SRAM DualDrive igh

I've been perusing the catalogs from 2000 to 2009. The Adventure 1000 with the Dual Drive 3x9 looks to be a 1 year only version, 2004. The LG serial number seems to make it a 2000 frame so I guess that's not right. I can't see them having frame sitting around for 4 years. Scraped the rubber...

    Dallas,TX $30 Bugger

The Vitus frames. When you don't weld, you can use much lighter weight (thinner wall) tubing which will be more flexible. The French stayed with standard tube diameters and short lugs which added to the flex. IMO the 1930s Caminargent is one of the most beautiful bikes of all time. The art...
