    what is this

It does look like it's in good shape. It's missing the tiny anti-lawyer drop-out screws (and stated as such in the ad). I don't know, some prices are still low, but it seems other items are taking off and going through the roof.

I'll also consider using a riveted-on cable stop if they'll be too difficult to weld, or epoxy. https://www.cycle-frames.com/bicycle-frame-tubing/NOVA-CABLE-STOP-SINGLE-RIVET-SILVER.html

I had a chance earlier this week to weld up the chainstay bridge for the swing arm. A bit tricky welding the tube on the side where the suspension pivot ears are, despite it looking like there was a lot of room, as there wasn't (even with using a short cap on the TIG torch). That takes care of...

Delta V 2000 shock adjuster tool

I couldn't attach this photo in our message so I have it posted here. The measurements I took were that the outside diameter is 44.5mm, the innermost diameter of the notches is 38.5mm and each notch has a diameter (not radius!) of 9.5mm.

    '90s splatter paint technique

Thanks for the lead about John. I tried a sample just doing over spray with a contrasting colour and I was quite surprised how nice it looked.

I’ll give it a try. Right from the start I was not thinking of the silver.

    Delta V 1500 (hard tail)

Speaking of brakes, I found this listing on eBay last night. The only anodized colors I remember being used on these bikes were silver, blue and purple...

    Delta V 1500 (hard tail)

Wow, only 72 Euros? At that price it would be good to break down for parts (depending on the quality).

The CODA brakes were re-badged Dia Compe 986. You can still find those new and used on eBay. In fact, I bought a set to restore the original CODAs on my Killer V (only used the hardware as the originals were rusted).

    '90s splatter paint technique

Anybody ever repaint their bike using that '90s splatter paint pattern? If so, what was the technique that was used? I'm contemplating doing a splatter paint job for my SE1000 project and would think that would be appropriate considering the era that the bike was from. I suppose that dipping a...

As cool as they are, no. I had a set of Spins back in the late ‘90s. They’re all too old and I don’t trust carbon fibre ;)
