A very well-preserved 1995 Cannondale M500, trimmed for light weight, weighting under 9 kg
This is my personal interpretation of a 1989 Cannondale SM600 frame, with Pepperoni fork. I had take inspiration from Charlie Cunningham's bike, they had drop handlebar on a mtb geometry.
Had it since New love this bike has probably close to 100,000 miles on her!
Excellent example, all original except, tires, saddle, peddles, hand grips and bottle cage. Original paintwork and parts.
I bought this bike brand new from Joe at the bike shop in Cocoa Beach, Florida, in September of 1991. I used most of my second paycheck from my first "career" job after college; it came to around $550. Over the next 20 years, I put about a zillion miles on it, many of them on the beach in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral, but I did take it to Europe with me in 1992. It pretty much went everywhere I went.
