Ok here are the canals by my house. My son likes me to take him here after I get off work. I get to ride these on my way to work every day.

Cool, I know that area of town! Still looks the same. My supervisor when I was in the Air Force lived in the same area. I used to think he was nuts commuting to Holloman from there everyday. Living central Texas is boring because its just too flat for me, I miss the fire roads out there on all the BLM land.

There’s not much going on in Alamogordo. I’m sure a lot of people who work at Holloman live in either Cruces or El Paso but after living in the Bay Area for large parts of my life, I cherish a 2 mile commute on a bicycle.

Got my new plates just days before leaving for Idaho...

Didn't bring any Cannondales with me sadly but I did just pick up a GT LTS to ride up here.

Hey all. Rode my 1999 T1000 in yesterday's NYC Century hosted by Transportation Alternatives. It’s an open-road, car-sharing urban century through 4 boroughs with lots of waterfront and lesser known parks in Queens and Brooklyn. My T1000 is a 30-lb tank, but comfortable for this kind of ride. Of interest to us Vintage Cannondalers: I chatted with the original owner on her light-blue 1986 ST400 with upright bars (looked like VO Left Banks or Riv/Nitto Boscos)—perfect fit and aesthetic. Also spotted plenty of CAAD6 through CAAD10 R-series bikes. Cheers, Will M in NYC.
