Is my Canondale rare? Please help never seen one before

It must be a 1FG (fixed gear) with the eccentric bottom bracket. Someone added the derailleur hanger and the cable guides on the down tube to convert it to a geared bike. I don't know what the numbers in the dropout indicate. I can't remember a 1FG that was painted white, but they may have been in markets other than the USA. 1FG was made from 2004-2006 and perhaps other years, but the 2006 1FG Ultra was disc brake only, and the only US 1FG model that year.

I think you are right, thanks so much helping me out, I'm just going to build this bike up on a budget now but will upload pictures when finished to gallery

I might take the drop out off later and upload the numbers, I completely agree with you about it being a fixed gear bike originally and someone not professional modified it to run gears, makes so much sense. I can see it now and know it's an old 1FG frame modified/with incorrect decals, to confuse everyone who looks at it

I took the drop hanger off and found a code B1-0302

Looks like someone cut frame and put a hanger on indeed aswel.
