That looks as if someone welded in a mount for a kickstand. Definitely doesn't look to be Cannondale weld/finish quality. I don't know much about the urban models but those cable guides don't look right either.

I'd say that you won't hurt the value of the frame by a repaint as long as it's going to be something you ride and enjoy. I wouldn't attempt to pay for a repaint and period correct build if you intend to resell it. Could make a perfectly fine rider but my take would be to build it up to your liking without repainting.

Yeah I think your right about getting her painted in Volvo team colour then f800 decals me is thinking so it will kinda look like a 700c gravel F800. Sounds mad I know but that's what I'm planning on doing. Thanks again everyone for help I will try some paint thinner tomorrow on that frame number sticker and keep y'all posted.

I'm going to look forward to seeing what you find out after you get so thinner.
I was about 15 minutes late from picking up a Trail frame that was for sale locally and built it into something like what your plan for this bike is.

Me to dude, it could be any frame now as it's been welded and had parts removed and parts welded inn. Absolutely madness someone would do this to a USA built Canondale. They must of loved this bike to do all this work to the frame then paint it up. The woman in her 40's I brought the bike from just said £10 take it, it's been outside in the garden for a few years and that's all she told me.
Looking forward to building it up to a Volvo team blue copy f800 gravel 700c bike now I've been told the frame is not worth millions and not super rare but infact chopped and welded and pre painted lol
Cheers again guys for help

Another crazy thing about this frame is that is has a B/B like this one. But the street models I've seen in catalogues you guys showed me don't have this B/B

More I look the more damage Im seeing to this frame. Some really bad dents and squashed water bottle holes and cable wearing against frame. Not sure if to paint this one up volve team blue/f800 copy? Might just keep as a gravel hack bike that I don't mind crashing no way am I selling as already ordered so many parts and will never get money back with a frame like this lol.

Barcode is just sticker removed residue.

I have found some numbers near the frame drop out
I believe this bike was white originally as seen a bit the painter has missed and Canondale wouldn't do this no way

It must be a 1FG (fixed gear) with the eccentric bottom bracket. Someone added the derailleur hanger and the cable guides on the down tube to convert it to a geared bike. I don't know what the numbers in the dropout indicate. I can't remember a 1FG that was painted white, but they may have been in markets other than the USA. 1FG was made from 2004-2006 and perhaps other years, but the 2006 1FG Ultra was disc brake only, and the only US 1FG model that year.
