My new project. Bought last month in very bad visual condition. Technicaly not so bad, but headshok dd50 is without cartridge and all parts needs cleaning. The key is to go under 10 kilos. I have already bought coda tarrantula cranks to replace heavy Deore LX and Selle italia Flite saddle. Still searching for fork or cartridge for him, and lightweight wheels on DT 240s or CODA 900. I have to replace beautyfully and light CODA 900 brake levers with XT BL-M739 because coda's are cantilever...
a beloved,oversized, polished aluminium frame, Pace RC35, forks, Wolber hubs, Deore LX, original Coda system brakes.
cant trace the cranks.
only replaced the bottom bracket once since i took possession in 1995, with Hope Ti.
im now looking to refurb. probably replace rear wheel with a modern 9 cassette.
all suggestions, or any dos and donts, well received.

This is a 1995 - M500 on Its 15th year birthday i decided to give it a complete makeover.
It had some bad frame damages that was fixed for me the local \"metal\" garage.
We disassembled it all, gave it this white color and some new decals.
Everything is original except the seatpost, saddle, tires and steering bar.

Loved this bike (was stolen) but was and is still my favorite bike of all time. Cannondale F1000 lefty, with XTR, Michelin red tires, mechanical Avids, and fast as h**l! I hope to find another like her someday...
1995 Cannondale M400 - Mica Red to Rocket Silver metallic
Currently equipped with a Rock Shox Indy XC fork but I still have the original matching faded rigid fork. All original components excluding the fork, LX V brakes, Control Tech seat post and WTB saddle.
