It's all original except for the seat. A chain measurement says it had less than 1000 miles on it when I got it. The period Cannondale seat bag was still attached. I'm torn between finding the original Vetta seat to make it a catalog queen or modernizing it into it a better daily rider but I love it as is and am putting a lot of miles on it, I just can't stay off of it it's so much fun to ride. I got this old bike for ~ 50 Euros, but this time I got something in a very sorry state (3rd pic).
The previous owner did a lot goof to the bike so I had to check my parts box... I swapped the wrong V-brakes for cantilevers and removed the Zoom stem and put in a old Tange stem which is not the right year either, but suits the bike better in my book. Then I mounted an old Vetta saddle I had.
The Suntour X-press shifting gets overhaul soon. Also it needs new tires and brake pads, but soon or...

Cannondale MT100 Tandem purchased on ebay March 2019 and now the subject of a light running refurb. The tandem came with bullhorn bars on the front fitted with drop bar brake levers which didn't work at all well with the original V Brakes. It had an Arai drag brake which had been skimmed to within an inch of it's life and made a dreadful vibrating noise.
