Updated this bike last summer with white Bluemels fenders, GB randonneur bars, Brooks B-17 saddle with titanium rails, Pletcsher double kickstand, and an Airzound air horn. Have been running RSX brifters on it for years.

This bike has a long story… http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=204593 It was all suntour equiped has catalog bike, but, upgraded when sold the first time with specialized BB and headset, the fork and the combo stem-bar are Grove innovation. The painting was \"splatted\" with yellow. I did the \"Roc d'Azur\" with it and the race of the first \"Old-School World Mountain Bike Champion Ship\" in Schoorl Netherland in september 2009. Only fun with this bike ! Forks: Grove innovation...

I have owned that bike in 1992. After a lot of years and kilometers (it crossed the northern territory of Australia), the frame was resprayed with the 1990 decals, as the bike was shown to journalists in August 1990. Only full shimano XT groupo with the original ritchey crank.

I grew up in California, not too far away from Mt. Tamalpais and Specialized. Growing up, I always thought the Hard Rocks, RockHoppers and Stumpys were the bomb. I noticed Cannondale in the early 90’s. There were not many Cannondales in my area, and the internet was not a thing. My 1st purchase was in 1998, an all black Cannondale. It rode great, however; an XL was just too big. My second purchase was in 1999, a pink Cannondale. The person I got it from said it was late 90’s. I thought it...

I purchased a 2003 Jekyll 800 in 2004. I rode this bike to death. In 2009 I blew the Ti lefty. in 2010, I cracked the 800 frame and blew the rear shock. The lefty was rebuilt in Germany by 88+, and the 800 frame was replaced with a 500 frame. Just need to finish the rebuild.
