Presumably built in 1997 I recently picked up this H500 Hybrid in the near of my city for -- again -- a cheap offer.
I added a ahead stem with comfortable angle and red bluemels which suit the bike quite well in my opinion. It's not in mint condition, but everything works and it's a nice ride...
Hi there!
Yesterday I got this nice little H500. I'd like to put bluemels on, but could anyone tell me how to fix it on this kind of frame? The best idea I had so far is to make little holes in the fenders and take zip ties to fix them, but I don't want to ruin the bluemels by doing that...
I always wanted a white vintage Cannondale, so I picked up this one near my home for a very reasonable price. I paid 80,- € and no wonder it's not in best condition, but that doesn't matter. It never will win a beauty contest, but it has a rock solid base for a quick and easy restoration.
Recently I saw a pic of a 1998 R300 in a so called 'Starlight Violet". I've never seen it before and I like it very much. Does anyone have such a bike resp have good quality pictures? It seems to be quite rare and good pics are hard to find. The catalogue only shows the red yellow version that I...
Thank you!
He told me he actually has a tool to straighten it out, but said if I can get one new he would prefer it, because there would always be the danger to brake it in the process. It's not heavily twisted, so I guess the risk is low.
Does anyone know where to get a derailleur hanger for this 1990 SH600? My bike shop said it's a bit bent to adjust the gears properly.
Thanks for any help!
Unfortunately the old bluemels don't fit anymore. Panaracer are more comfortable, but too big. Think Race Blades don't look too bad, but would have preferred the old white ones. What do you think?
Thanks!
I'd liked to order the Pasela tyres, but apparently they are hard to get these days, thanks to Covid.
Now I'm trying to get these via my local bike shop.
Hi,
I've got this wonderful ST600 recently. It's in the 1990 catalogue and to my surprise it says 27" rims. Erroneously I purchased a set of 28" tyres before which of course didn't fit, but I wondered why. 27" rims are bigger than 28" I found out after some research. It was a pain to get that...
Picked up this wonderful 23' touring bike yesterday. Needs TLC.
Crank is stuck and pedals are missing. Tyres are old and worn.
Love the original Olympic bluemels.
Might be a little strange, but yesterday we talked about a classmate of our university days in the nineties. We stumbled on his Cannondale he had back then which had two 24" wheels I was sure. It was already well used in those days.
Red color, quite a large frame with a long head tube and white...
I have a pair of unused Shimano Tourney 3 x 7 drop bar shifters that I had in mind for the upgrade. They're not the best quality shifters, but should work better than the old downtube levers. It's an experiment, but think it's worth a try.
