Have a look at the 1990 catalog. Geometry for the 25" SH and ST frames is exactly the same. The only difference is that the SH fork has a bit less rake which results in more trail. I doubt you would notice the difference. Do you need cantilever brakes? Some of the older touring bikes used...

What about a touring frame? Geometry wouldn't be much different. Depending on what the drivetrain is, it might only require a bar/stem/shifter change to convert.

Did you measure from the centerline of the steerer tube to the center of the bar (through the center of the extension)? I have a black stem here that measures 120 mm. It looks quite a bit more than 20 mm shorter than your stem to me.

Looks like a Delta V. Model number is on the top tube. It's a steal at $50.

I have several extra Headshok stems. Most of them are NOS ones that I bought from a bike shop in St. Louis. They are at a friend's house in STL. If you can give me an idea of the length and angle you need I will have him take a look. I may have one or two extras here as well.

Look for a two letter code stamped in the underside of the BB shell. You may have to move the cable guide to see it but on my '99 R4000 it's visible without moving the guide. The 2 letter code will at least pin down the year of manufacture. My guess is that it was sold as a frameset. Another...

Looks like yours failed in the same place as mine. You can extend the threaded rod farther into the broken boss. If you go too far you may have to shorten the shifter mount screw.
