Hi every body from Sunderland uk

I couldn't find anything that's a match in the catalogs. Most all 1996-7 SV models came with Coda cranks and GripShift or Sachs shifters. Rims were generally Sun on the lower models and Mavic 220 on the upper models. Perhaps your bike was built from a frameset. Paint on framesets could vary...

Weird Logo on my Killer V

Now if we can get a clearer pic of the 2004 1FG.... I have a 2003 print catalog but not a 2004. Blowing up the scans just makes them fuzzier. June seems way too early for next model year regular production. Prototype might explain all the discrepancies but it would probably require some...

Weird Logo on my Killer V

1994 was the first year for the Killer V. Wondering if your frame could be a prototype. The KV 900 was available polished with a black fork.

Weird Logo on my Killer V

Hard to tell from the catalog scan, but the 2004 1FG is close. 2005 Chase is similar as well.

    Ride Quality 23" 1988 Cannondale ST700

Glad to know there's another quality 27" tire option. Hope they fit. Agree about the 600 parts. I have them on a couple of bikes and always thought they looked nicer than the tricolor stuff that came after them.

    what is this

I think that's a 2000 M400 that someone switched to a suspension fork. Catalog says team yellow/charger orange fade was the optional color. Also used on the F400 and shown on the F400 catalog page.

    Howdy from Arizona!

Welcome. I'll be interested to see the ST as those are one of my favorites.

Returning to the fold in England

I agree about the MT tandems and touring, they have lower gears and fit bigger tires so are a perfect choice. What size tyres on your Warrior? They mostly seem to have been shipped with 25s, but I've always wondered if they wouldn't fit 30 or 32. Here's what I'd ultimately like to find but...

Returning to the fold in England

Nice to have another member from the UK. The Contro doesn't look much like a traditional Cannondale, but it will surely serve her well. I've searched many times for a Warrior, have never seen one for sale in the USA. Is your Los Dos rigid or does it have a suspension fork?

    1988 Team MTB?

Great stuff. Too bad SRAM killed the company.

    Another frame ID please

I though something like this might exist but didn't know where to look. Nice to see them.

    1988 Team MTB?

I have several bikes built with Sachs, mainly road as the long cage RD and triple cranks are kind of hard to find. I think the levers with the black shift paddles are 7000 models, one step below New Success. I have a pair with red painted brake levers. I took a quick look but couldn't find...

    Cannondale bible

There is lots of good stuff there. Hope to see more. How many pages are there?

I would welcome 35, not so sure about 44. I wouldn't have expected that kind of extreme temp near the coast. Doesn't look to be anywhere near that warm currently. Still doubt you would trade for weeks of subfreezing. It's hard to ride on ice, which we've had a pretty good coating of for two...

Delta V 2000 shock adjuster tool

Coil-over nuts are usually a pretty loose fit. On the race cars we used to tack a small screw to the bottom of the spring so that we could reach inside the tub and quickly adjust the nut by turning the spring. Never had one that I had to use a wrench on as far as I can remember.

Delta V 2000 shock adjuster tool

I would doubt that it's cross threaded as the nut is threaded on quite a way and the threads don't appear to be damaged. Probably got some grit down in the clearance between the nut and the shock and galled as a result. The shock thread could also have been damaged by an impact of some sort.

    weird serial number

I'll bet you are right. I forgot about the alternate sequence with the dropout spacing code. The first 6 = 126 spacing. As an aside, 66 was offered stock but only as a frameset.

    Help with newer serial number

You should be able to figure out the model by comparing the bike to the catalogs. Here's the 2015: https://issuu.com/cannondale_usa/docs/15_c_bike_catalog_us_final_issuu?e=9912505/8937095 Synapse could be carbon or AL framed, disc or rim brake, and the model is generally named after the main...

Cold in the UK also? It's supposed to get down to -4 F/-20 C here tonight. High tomorrow only 14 F/-10 C. Normal high is 43/6 - we've been running well below normal most of the year so far.
