Need your help! What is this bike?? ‍♂️

Looks like a 2004 1FG, missing some decals. Finish and crank look right for that bike. Check with Craig at MendonCycleSmith for Headshok service.

Adapting dura ace downtube shifter to Cannondale frame

Did you remove the stock shifter bosses? With the stock boss setup you will just need the Shimano spacers with a flat back rather than the radiused ones that you have. Not sure, but I may have a pair.

which button bracket for a KILLER V900

I think they were all 68 mm shells. Easy to measure and be sure. Spindle length and type will depend on what crank you use.

    Greetings from the other Maine.....

That's a nice looking Silk Road. I have a frame that's virtually identical but mine seems to have gotten the downtube decals from a SR900. If you have questions about the fork, post them in Headshox and Lefty section. MendonCycleSmith is the guy to talk to about fork issues

    Hi from Brighton, UK.

I think that's the right choice. 18.5 is still pretty light, 7400 works great and is probably going to last longer than most modern groups. The wheels give it a modern look, so you have a nice compromise of vintage and modern.

    Hi from Brighton, UK.

Nice to see a collection with a theme. Have you weighed the R900 as it is? It could be lightened up quite a bit if you want to throw a lot of money at it.

    1991 Cannondale SH600

Do you know what size it is? Might be in the serial number.

    1988 Upgrad

Where did you get the decals? Perhaps Brian can help.

Might be a 1999, but posting here to make sure

Pretty sure it's a 1997 F900, Super Black with Yellow Roughcut decals. Looks to be mostly original except for saddle, seatpost, and rear derailleur.

Hello from Northern Westchester County NY

I've seen that crack before I think. Just above the weld where the dropout is welded to the seat stay? Local dealer told me that the road frames of that era would crack near the front derailleur but I've yet to see one crack there.

Might be a 1999, but posting here to make sure

I think that translates to 1996, November. Likely a 1997 model. Pics of the bike and components should help.

Hello from Northern Westchester County NY

Where did the SM700 crack? You should get that SV project built up.

    1989 Crit 3.0 build

That would have been the 7 speed Athena equipped SR900. Too bad about the paint.

    1989 Crit 3.0 build

Are you sure it's a 1989 model? I don't see silver on any of the 1989 road bikes. How are you building it?

    1991 1MB Campagnolo For Sale

I couldn't find my 1991 catalog when I replied, looked up the sizes in the 1990 assuming they were the same. Would be interesting to see how much difference there is between a 1990 16" and a 1991 15". Glad you don't have a 20 or 22, as I would be tempted.

    WTB : 1987 Road bike SR 600

That's newer than 1987, as it has the cantilever dropouts. Might be a 1990 SR300. Does it have SunTour Blaze components?

    Replace System Six 120mm Stem

I was referring to the top cap/upper bearing cover of the headset. That's the part I think you might be able to change to use a more conventional stem. Not sure the one in this FSA headset would work for you, but it's along the lines of what I am thinking...

    Replace System Six 120mm Stem

Could you change the headset top cap to one with a radius/taper like the Six13 has, so there's no step in the transition to the spacer(s)? Close up photo of your SystemSix top cap and spacer would help me understand the problem. I've never seen one of these bikes or even a decent photo of one.
