I am not the original owner. It is all original. These frames were all powdercoated. I own a Moho Mountain and always wanted a road frame, I bought this off eBay a few years ago, seller stated it was a 56cm. It is a 52cm. They are awesome frames if you have not ridden one. :)

It is a 1988, and I would also guess 63cm frame. Look thru the 88 catalog. There is a model that was blue or white paint with shimano 600... I think. http://vintagecannondale.com/year/1988/1988.pdf

in search of a fork brace for a Rock Shox judy. looking for a non canti mount, and something cool like a shock bone.. also in need of a Manitou 4 brace.

Definitely a Cannondale. fork is not original. Back in the day, all frames were the same frame. The better parts on the frame made it a higher number model. it is in good shape.

FOR SALE: 1985/86 SR Frame 56/58cm FREE +SH from California Made in Dec 1985, probably a 1986. has an older powder coat on it. Frame only. This is a 56cm frame, but measures 58cm from center to top of seat tube.

Do you have photos to publish?

Are you looking to go with a modern tapered fork? If so there are lots of adapters out there for this. Just remember the travel/rake. Also, if you find a straight 1 1/8th adapter, remember the frames are designed for the headshox, this is why the older cannondale adapters have the big spacer...

Do you have any photos of it on a frame? Is it a thin or thick primer?

I think you are right. it is a M400, 98 was birkenstock and some was 2k ish. :)

Post some pics. The SN page is really for Cannondale up to 2007.. Some modern Cannondale may use a different SN format.
