General Information
This one is the one and only real road bike I have had for many years. It is a sweet ride, with very stable and predictable handling. Only the frame is original although almost all the parts are period correct and major upgrades. A 3X6 biopace/uniglide transmission with Deore DX derailleurs changes gears like butter. Dia Compe X-1 Cantilevers w/Dia Compe SS-5 levers handle the stopping. 700c x 32 Paselas ride on a $20 bike library wheelset. I would have preferred to go with bigger tires but...
