I purchased a 1987 SM600, used, in 1996 from my local Cannondale shop, in Rocky River, Ohio. The shop owner had reconditioned the bike for his daughter to use at college, and there was a sticker on the seat tube showing that the bike was originally from a shop in Los Angeles, California. My thoughts were to try it as a snow commuter.
