I bought the frame on the internet (second hands) ... I want to create a pure bike ...no nonsens !
It rolls fantastic ... If you have good legs ... because a 52x 19 is not a MTB gear but a real URBAN one !

All city crank with an old suntour blade (52), 19 shimano cog and surly spacers...
M400 - 3.8 Series, rigid mountain bike converted to a single speed road bike. Not sure if year is 1992, 1993, or 1994 - If anyone knows for certain, please let me know. Currently set up on just one gear, using the original crankset and multi-gear cassette freewheel. Added a tensioner to align the chain line. Plans to change out crankset and rear hub to go fixed and/or singlespeed with a single gear cog that can be flipped to a single freewheel sprocket. Any advice? Suggestions are welcomed...
52cm track bike, polished. Campy cranks, headset. Suntour Superbe front hub + Sun rim (original wheel). Rear is Zipp 340 tubular with American Classic hub (found a correct rear wheel, btw). 14.1 lbs.
Was orange, now a lovely shade of neon green. Powder coated frame and forks. Surly singlespeed hub, shimano BMX freewheel, 18-36 gearing, all unneeded frame tabs removed. I forget the brand names of all of the parts changed but the only things left from stock after singulating are the frame, forks and brakes.... and the brakes will be upgraded next.
This is my second C'Dale. My first was a 1991 M500 that I bent on a halfpipe. I hated this bike untill I singled it, now I adore it.

50cm 1993 Cannondale Track. Beat up, full Campagnolo C-Record Pista group. Campagnolo Record threaded headset, Campagnolo 8th pitch 48t chainring and a Campagnolo 15t track cog. Campagnolo Mirage 32 hub to a Mavic Open Sport front(spare wheel for now), Campagnolo Record low flange 32 hole hub to a Mavic Open Pro in the back. Campagnolo C-Record 27.2 Aero seatpost and a Selle Italia saddle. Cinelli 1A stem and Cinelli Giro d'Italia drops. Have ridden a lot of different frames on the street...
This bike witnessed 11 years of epic rides, memories, fun, and trail evolution with me as a multi-geared bike.
In 2006, I bought a new Rush.
In 2008 I removed the derailleurs, shifters, cables and unused chainrings and converted it to a SingleSpeed.
In the Winter, I mount a set Of Nokian Extreme 294 studded tires and look for ice to ride on. Fun!!!

rumor has it they made only 6 - for the barloworld team to use in europe in the off season. i got it new, as it was being used as a display and added the components.
