VintageCannondale.com move to full forums? Thoughts?

VintageCannondale.com will be moving servers. The current server is slow and a joke. I have a question for the community. The thought is to move the entire site to the forums. Catalogs, Serial number etc. VintageCannondale.com would be a forum site only.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

It makes a lot of sense to me to go forum only. None of the information on the website itself needs to be hosted elsewhere. If you still had the shop, then maybe it would be worth the duplication.

as johnny already wrote, all the informations reached through the menuebar at the homepage could also be provieded inside the forum – so go for it.

just clicked a little bit through the main pages... and found the menue point 'SHIMANO DATE CODES' at the menue bar in 'INFO & SERIAL NUMBERS'.

that could be expanded by SRAM SERIAL CODES. maybe with some more informations about years of groupsets like it's descriped in wikipedia. and for shimano as well.
