I have my 1987 Cannondale SR600 road bike for sale, but not sure how much I should try and sell it for. I am thinking $850 due to its condition, but flexible on the price. It is 54 cm aluminum frame. All original except tires, cables, handlebar tape and chain ring. I put a Biopace chain ring on when I bought the bike new in 1987. I am the original owner. Bike was made in the USA, is the pink color and has factory hand painted graphics. All shimano 600 parts. Has a few paint chips but other than that, bike in perfect condition. See photos of catalog for additional details.

Bike is located in Leesburg, VA. If you have any idea what the bike may be worth or if you are interested in purchasing, please let me know. Thanks.

Your bike is in fantastic condition. I have a similar bike (1989 3.0 Criterium) in similar condition with a mixture of Dura Ace, 600 Tri color, and 105 components, all original, and have often wondered how much it is worth. I still ride it on the trainer in the winter and a few times every year to just remind me of how good a 35 year old bike can still be. I have 5 others to choose from..... But back to your question of "worth". I would think that 850$ is on the upper end of what you could get, but certainly the condition would warrant it. The prospective buyer would more than likely be a collector or someone who has other bikes to ride. The color could be both a positive or a negative. Beautiful bike though.
