Good evening, everyone! I recently picked this up from my buddy and wow, I love it. It's super fast, coming from a flat-bar gravel bike. I couldn't find anything definitive in the vintage catalog. I found just the frame but on the France one.

Does anyone know about this bike? Thanks for the help in advance!

The head tube badge was the biggest clue.
And the serial number of course.
That's a 1990 SR800.

You may notice the frame was produced in 1989, but the bike that it was built into was for the 1990 model year. Hence the "new" for 1990 head badge graphic.

Check the serial numbers page. Your serial number checks out as: 6 = 126 mm rear spacing, 56 = 56 cm frame, 0989 = September 1989 production, 0095 = the 95th frame produced in that month.
