Hi all.
I'm trying to know what is exact model of my bike, which I got from my uncle. Serial numer on bottom bracket idicates that this model is from march 1995, but I'm not sure of the model.
Maybe you can help me?

When you look at the framenumber, the frame is, like you said, made in March 1995.
However I cannot find this color in the '95 or '96 catalog.

It might be a mid season color, or a color only sold in a certain part of the world.

The fork is probably later installed, 98% of the bikes had aluminum forks, only the expensive bikes (low production numbers) had carbon forks. And this fork looks like it is from a later date.

As you probably also know, most of the parts look after market.

I think someone bought it as a second hand only a few years old then, invested in the bike by mounting a carbon fork, different stem, handlebar?? seat, etc.

And now the bike found you.

The shifters are definitely newer than the frame. That style with the rounded tops was introduced for the 1998 model year. Crank and derailleurs could be 1995 and were used through 2008. 1995 was the first year that Campagnolo put the model names on the components but they were small and could be worn off. But there were no Campagnolo equipped models in 1995-6, at least as far as we know from the USA catalogs.

Thank you guys for the replies!
Probably I'll leave it to myself now. At least the bike will stay in the family :)

My guess is a 1994 R600 going by color and components. I can't explain the serial number discrepancy. Best to ask the uncle everything he knows. If you figure it out, we'd love to hear the full story.
