Hi,
I am writing from Germany, completely new in Cannondale… und somewhat lost with this barn find.

I went through the catalogues from 1997 to 1999, but have no idea which model it could be. The head tube and the headset are confusing to me.

I my believe it was originally a built with a headshock instead of the current fork. A sticker on the seat tube is indicating this.

Parts are a wild mix of everything….

Maybe one of you expert guys can help.

i would have fun to bring the bile to the original set up. My idea is a complete 750 XT plus either a rigid fork or the original suspension fork.

Many thanks for any support from your end!

Regards from Germany

There are kit to convert from Headshok forks to conventional forks, which is what is fitted to your bike. Post a picture of the serial number, that will help fill in the details.
