Also the two early90s 'dales, R900 and Super V 2000 that have been listed on and off for forever at prices nobody's going to pay. Dude, those things aren't *that* collectable. I'm not going to insult people by posting links....

I like the blue color on the ST.

I snagged a picture of the Super V 2000 just for fun @Jon K. The owner is claiming to have purchased it new in 1994 and only ridden it 20 miles. Does that make it worth $1500? I don’t know. I don’t follow the V series bikes much. But I think it’s the Raven that fetches the highest asking prices.

Too bad the picture is low quality. But here it is anyway;

Looking on eBay, most of the aluminum-era Super Vs I see are asking much lower prices, but not all. I saw a few for over $1,000, but most are well under that. The carbon-fiber Ravens are still fetching high prices ($1,100 and up).

I don't know why, but somehow the fact that the seller took a picture of the bike hanging upside-down from the hooks in the ceiling, then rotated it 180 degrees so it looks like the bike is sitting on the ground kind of irks me.

Maybe because it gives me the impression that the owner isn't being serious about the sale. I mean, if you spend large amounts of money on a bike, then find you don't like it, who just hangs it up in the storage room and leaves it there for 30 years? Wouldn't it make more sense to sell it when you decided that you didn't enjoy riding it? It makes me suspicious.

I've noticed them a few times being listed as well during my insomnia induced bike searches.
