Rear Post mount

Hi all , dose anyone have a f700 2002 with washers between the calliper and the rear mount ? Also do you think the rear mount used to have a bracket with a 180mm disc ? These washers have really confused me as I don’t think it came from the factory with washers of different thicknesses . Any thoughts would be great

After having a discussion with other members about washers between the mounts and adapters on my '01 Jekyll that still had the origninal hayes brake calipers installed. It seems that it was a common thing. It seems the they changed the IS tab mounts to be thicker around the mounting holes, which eliminated the need for the washers. My 2004 Jekyll mount is thicker in that area and doesn't need the washes. Here are some pictures of my Jekyll's and from another members 2000 Super V.

As for rotore size. I run 180mm front and rear on my 2001 Jekyll and 203/180 on the 2004.

Also can I but a bracket to go from 160mm to 180mm for the rear ?
Yes, there are several brands that make them. You can find them on almost all online bike component retailers. Just look for IS to PM mount adapters. I stay away from buying generic ones on Amazon personally, If I were in the UK I'd pick them up from Uberbike. They also sell good quality rotors as well.
If you want I can make a list of quality brands and the correct part number for a rear 180 mm for you.
