Wanted Pair of SM/16” Mtn bikes

On the hunt for a pair of small (16”) framed mountain bikes. Or maybe even a hybrid. They are for my daughters as they’ve outgrown their 20” tire bmx style bikes. Colors: purple, white, some greens. No reds.

I’m hesitant to go for a small frame because they’ll outgrow them too. My local craigslist seems to have dried up for vintage Cannondale’s.

It’s probably a ridiculous thought since shipping would cost more than the bikes are worth. So I’m open to frames as well.

This frame work? I also have a red shred frame and a rough M400 frame too. I wanted to PC the M400 for my daughter in her color of choice but you know how life is...

It does for me, but then again blue is my favorite color.

I will show them the picture and see if the color pops for one of them. They are girls. There’s no telling or guessing until they say so. You probably experience that as well…

If I recall correctly the Red Shred is a darker red. In general red isn’t a favorite of either one. I’ll have to find a picture that shows it well. Maybe it’ll float their boat. Dad would think it’s cool. But then again I’m Dad I think lots of stuff is cool.

The purples and the dark metallic greens of the ebay bikes seem to garner their interest the most. This week…

Thanks for the chat @Trav1s while we didn’t strike a deal due to my girls color preferences I still learned some likes and dislikes. It narrows the search down better. Which means more difficult.

So far it’s only the dark metallic green and purple that my kids like on a Cannondale. I may be looking for awhile to find a small frame. I may have to increase the size search. My kids may have to ride a different brand until the Cannondale fits.
