Hi All,
I'm 28, and I live in Northern Ireland. My father gave me his 1993(?) M600 BOTE in the Patriot colours. When I was a teen I rode the hell out of it, although I eventually grew out of it as the frame was too small. Last year I cleaned it up and took it out on a small excursion and reminded me of how much fun these bikes are.
I've been plotting this new 1992 M800 BOTE build for a while, waiting for the right frame size to become available. I managed to get the frameset at a very reasonable price, along with the original wheels (although one broken spoke and missing the Force 40 yoke on the rear). I fitted an entire Shimano Deore LX groupset, with a mix of M550 mostly and M60 brakes and shifters.
