Hi folks,
Hope you are all ok.
I have decided to convert a Cannondale F800SL into a gravel bike, reason why I am looking for an owners manual. I have found a website where you can find displayed many features of the whole bicycle, but when you try to zoom in you can read nothing because of the poor quality of the file.
Any guessing about it?
Best,
Pedro

Not sure what would be in the owner's manual. They usually just have safety and warranty information. What do you want to know about the bike? F800SL should be a CAAD5 disc frame with a Headshok Fatty Ultra DL fork. Should make a great gravel bike. Are you thinking of 650B wheels or 26"?

I have two colleagues at work that are absolute freaks about the cycling universe (they are very experienced riders) and they welcomed my idea of making this mini project of mine about recycling an F800SL. With this in mind I would like to supply them with every measurement of the frame so they can start looking for the right bit to recycle it into an awesome gravel bike.
I don't really know about what wheels, but if you have a look to the pictures I just attached, you will get an idea of what I want to make. I would like to add a MTB or more BMX handle bar like instead.
The frame is in very good shape (dark blue with its Cannondale stuff) and I am also considering painting it to get one of a kind.
After over two years cycling in London nearly every day, I have realised I am an addict!
Feel free to suggest any ideas about bits and bolts.
Another inspiration for me has been a Rondo bike that one of the guys is having (Ruut Al), you have a picture attached. And I just love it!

Here is a photo of the 2002 Headshok frame geometry chart. 2003 is the same. There are almost limitless ways to build a gravel bike. I still like to use a triple or sub-compact crank and 10 speed wide range cassettes. Lots of folks are going 1X with the modern SRAM and Shimano 40+ T cassettes. For cold weather riding, I like bar end shifters, as they can easily be shifted with heavy mittens.
