Hello from Germany

Hello,
I'm located in the Frankfurt area and my hobby is renovating old C'dales. I always try to rebuild as close as possible as they were originally sold or how they look like in the old catalogs.

Close after X-mas I bought an old '91 Beast of the East and started directly with disassemble and cleaning.
Everything is in a good condition excepted the stem - that needs a repaind.

… and that leads me directly to my questions … where can I get the gecko which is originally on the top of the stem.
Has someone a digital copy of the gecko from which I can create a sticker/decal. Are there any templates from the gecko available?

Any gecko Information is appreciated ;)

Thx ... Chris

Could you have someone hand paint the gecko on the stem? In the USA I'd bet a good pin-stripe artist could do it but I don't know if they are as common in Germany.

I will probably transform the gecko into the digital world so that I can then create a foil sticker/decal in orange :D
A good picture of the gecko would be very helpful for this - would be great if someone who owned the gecko stem could send me a picture ... thx

the photo from that thread is a good resource to do a vector graphic out of it. if it's helpful, i could do that easily in adobe illustrator. then you only need to find someone with a 'plotter' nearby to make a vinyl decal.
That would be great if you could create a vector graphic with the illustrator :D.
A copy/plott shop is not so far away from here ....
