Coda saddle ?

Anybody know the story with this saddle
I can’t find anything on the web
Bought it about 4years ago off EBay cause I liked it

Shape looks similar to the Coda 1000 that came on high end bikes circa 2000. Seems to me Cannondale made some red/white/blue bikes to honor those who responded to the 9/11 attacks. Seems likely that the saddle came from one of those bikes. Search around, perhaps you can find a pic. I don't think they were in the catalog. I have a Coda 1000 here if you want to compare details of the underneath parts.

The date stamp on the underside reads 1998

F2000 SX and R1000 had stars and stripes paint in 2000 but catalog doesn't show that saddle. Wonder if it was made up with the intention of being used on those bikes, but for whatever reason wasn't used in the catalog photos.
