Looking for specs on a 2008 Cannondale F4 Hard Tail. Geometry measurements, components, etc. I already spoke with Cannondale and they directed me here.

Thanks.

The 2008 Catalog is available on the Cannondale website. https://www.cannondale.com/en-us/bike-archive . 2008 is way down at the bottom
It doesn't show the F4 hardtail components list for some reason, but on pg 48 of the pdf it does list the F4 CO2 SL Headshok model frame geometry, etc.. that is about as close as I can find right now.

BTW I liked your gallery pic of your bike. I like that color blue on that bike.. So I am curious what color it is myself.

I have a print catalog. Looks like the F4 could be clear coated raw aluminum or Patriot Blue/Jet Black. Build was SRAM X-7 derailleurs, X-5 shifters, Shimano crank and hubs, WTB rims, and Shiman BR-485 disc brakes.

That looks like the what BethZ's bike has on it when you zoom in on the pic.. Figured you'd have the info.

Ooops, I found it in the catalog... for SOME stupid reason I was assuming it was a feminine model. I love it when I realize when I A$$ume something.

JohnnyD and Black lightning 1987 - thanks for the posts and info, right on target with the specs! It’s Patriot Blue/Jet Black. When I bought the bike, I didn’t know anything about bike fit or specs. The bike is comfortable to ride but I wished I could have gotten a petite size (I’m just about 4’ 11”). I was looking for the stand over height measurement. I have zero clearance but other than that, it’s very comfortable to ride with the modifications I made.

Glad I could help, although I think Black lightning 1987 really deserves all the credit. I'm just glad you are enjoy a comfortable ride on it, plus it looks great as well!

Other than our 3 day little snow storm last week.. this whole winter has been nice riding weather here. I even had a blast riding to work during the storm. I have a short commute to work so I ride almost everyday.

Beth, if you are comfortable riding the bike otherwise I wouldn't worry about the stand over height. I am much more comfortable riding bikes that are taller than would normally be recommended for someone of my height and some of them have "zero clearance".

I haven't had a ride of more than a few blocks around town this year. We have had snow on the ground since January 1 and it's been consistently 10-15 degrees below normal with only a a handful of above average temperature days.

Still sounds like fun weather to sneak in at least a short ride in. Then again I am nuts.
