Here is my 2000 Cannondale T2000 Touring Bike that I tore down and rebuilt with the help of many on this forum. Sorry for the endless questions! Features a Thomson seat post, Brooks Swallow saddle, Ritchey Carbon SL stem, Cane Creek Headset, Mavic Rims, Shimano XTR rear derailleur, Cannondale front and rear pannier sets, handlebar bag and rear trunk bag, Continental Top Touring 2000 tires, Performance clipless/flats combo pedals, Shimano Ultegra Brifters. My plan is to take it on some bike packing/multi day rides starting in Spring. Ultimately when I retire in a few years, I would like to bike tour Newfoundland. It is a bucket list item for sure.

I also cross-posted in the gallery.

Cheers!
John

I have two questions. Does your bike have no threaded eyelets on the fork like those pictured on the catalog bike? And, are the tires on your bike twenty-four years old?!

Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick are on my bucket list as well. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your bike out on the trail next Spring.

letsbike: Yes, it has the fork bosses brazed on from the factory to hold the front pannier frame. No, the tires are new old stock. I also have a set of Continental Ride Tour tires. I am going to try both to see which i like better.

I have a new pic attached that show the bosses.

Thank you for the answers to my questions. Enjoy your new ride!

I bought that same handlebar bag in 1987 for my wife. She still uses it daily, it's just a bit faded, but still going strong.
