hello,

today i was finally able to do some picture of an old CAAD 5 R500. usually i want to post it to the gallery already last year. but i didn't kept an eye on it... xD now i've published some words and photos in the gallery :)

jop, nice low budget groupset for sure. worked pretty well over the summer periode... :)

I was thinking the same thing. I guess I am spoiled now because anything bigger than 44 and I am struggling

I have several really nice 144 mm bolt circle diameter road cranks that are wall hangers because the smallest ring that fits is a hard to find 41t and that's closer to the big ring I'd like to run than the small. I still have lots of bikes with 52-53 big rings but they don't get ridden much unless the crank is a triple.

In my younger years it was all 42×52, maybe a 28×42×52 thrown in. Now it's 26×36×46. I do find reasons to cruise the big ring on occasion though.
