Cannondale CAAD10?

I recently bought a frame advertised as a caad8. Yet upon closer inspection, the geometry and frame details seems to indicate that it is in fact a caad10. The frame has been (somewhat shabbily) repainted and there's no serial number apart from the frame number to tell the model, but the following details all look to be from the 2015 caad10: the cable guide for the back brake is welded at the front of the crown tube (like some SuperSix frames), the gear cable guides are mounted on the side to a broader part of the down-tube, the front derailleur clamp is welded and the mount for the back brake is curved.

I'm not that familiar with Cannondale frames, so I hope someone can confirm the model and year. Thanks!

would tend to a caad10-frame too.

if you compare to the linked fotos, a caad8-frame is it definitely not... also not caad9. and on caad11 the toptube is in the back, when it meets the seattube way thinner :)

to find out the production year is difficult without the original color coating.

Alright, thank you for confirming my hunch, that it is actually a caad10 - that is after all a much nicer frame to score for about 80$! The paint job is a bit of a bummer though

That's a great idea - I was thinking of a complete do-over, but in the meantime I'm sure that'll do the job.

80$ is awesome... :) i would remove all the paint and do something new. a polished aluminum frame looks also nice. clear coat and go^^ maybe some original decals in black... had good experience with 'oxystrip' by scheidel. just put the oxystrip-soup all over the frame, wrap it into foil for quiet some time and then you can pretty easy wipe the dissolved paint off the frame. no sandpaper needed :)
