Bottom bracket width for F2000SL (optimo) or F700 (caad 4)

I have this mountain bike, I suspect it is a F2000SL from 2006. I replaced the bottom bracket with the one from my F700 CAAD 4.

Unfortunately that bottom bracket now also needs to be replaced. I can tell that the bracket says "BC 1.37" x 24T". What should be the bracket width I need to order? What size did these bikes have? Thanks!

What type of bottom bracket does it have? What model crank? If it came from a CAAD4 I'd guess it's a square taper bottom bracket. A 2006 F2000SL should have come with an external cup Hollowtech bottom bracket.

All you need is a new pair of English threaded cups. The spindle is permanently attached to the crank. I'm no expert on Shimano MTB stuff but I suspect this is what you want:

I would pull the crank and measure the diameter of the spindle where the bearings ride.

Great, that is for both 68 and 73mm, that should fit.

Yes, pulling it out first is best, but I'd rather first order the bracket, so that I am not without bracket/cranks for too long.
