Hey all, new here and wanted to introduce myself. Been riding Cannondales since 1994 as well as collecting saddles. Always looking for something fun to work on/add to the collection
Thanks! Full XTR build on that. It’s currently up for sale with the group includedReally cool collection of both Cannondale bikes and saddles. I really the Flash
You are right with the 1991, it’s a European 1MB from the details I can pull up. One of very few (if not the only) MTB that cannondale equipped with Campagnolo. My understanding is extremely limited too but that hasn’t been confirmed. It was built off the sm1000 frameThanks for posting a great collection. What's the story on the Campagnolo equipped bike? Looks to be a 1991, but I don't recall a model built
I was always a big fan of the grip style shifting! If your ever looking to move the group, let me know! The late Record O.R. crank is a thing of real beauty but Campagnolo never made much progress in the MTB market and the parts are hard to locate and expensive. Despite having probably built up 50 or more road bikes with Campagnolo, I have only built one MTB with it- and that is a steel Gary Fisher on which I used Paul Thumbies and 10 speed bar end shifters. I have another 3 x 8 group here but have never taken time to figure out the twist shifter installation. Sadly, the Paul Thumbies are long out of production for Campagnolo shifters.
While not as nice as the saddles in your collection.. I did manage to find something nice to add to one of my bikes. I am thinking it will look nice on the 2001 Jekyll. It needs a little more red details. Got great deal on it too.Hey all, new here and wanted to introduce myself. Been riding Cannondales since 1994 as well as collecting saddles.
