Another very old ST500. 1983 or 1984

I stumbled across this first or second year Cannondale ST500. I looked to see what was different about those two years, and it was nothing. Same frame, same components, same colors. I guess only the serial number would tell you which year it was. This one has a very nice frame. Something that would make a restoration go a lot smoother.

I keep coming back and looking at these pictures. It looks to be in fantastic shape. If it was nearby I’d buy it. Shipping logistics would be difficult and cost enough to be almost too much for the overall expense.

I have to admit that I am seriously thinking about this bike also. It's less than a three hour drive away. Decision, decisions...
