24" Cannondale from the 80's?

This rare C'dale is currently for sale in Germany.

According to the seller the bike was imported to Europe in the late eighties. He thinks in this specification it was never sold in Europe. 24" rear and front wheels, mixed Suntour and Shimano parts.

Anyone knows what name these bikes had?

Member sjs.666 apparently has a green '87 SM 500 with 24" wheels as well. So, I think it's one of these.

The 24/24 was an option for a few years. I have a 24/24" frame for sale that I purchased thinking it was a 26/24... oops.
