2000 gen 2 Raven 800

Well after much searching in Oz, I finally found the second generation Raven I wanted. Yes It does have the Cannondale recall syringe hole BB and bonded elevated rear swingarm nobody wanted but this was the appeal for me.

I sort of gave up on my search and had been playing around with trucks. Some money I had put away for a Perkins diesel rebuild kit ended up buying this bike which appeared just as I was leaving the big smoke to head home.

Here she is covered in dust with me waiting for a local train so I could box her up that night to take on the interstate train the next day.

It's a nice foundation for a build. Last time I checked there were some decent deals on Jekyll swing arms on Ebay. Don't know if any of them were in Oz though. A good one of them would eliminate any worries about the bonded swing arm cracking.
